Huaibei Veolia's hazardous waste treatment plant is primarily designed for the disposal of chemical hazardous waste and waste liquid; The main part of the plant - the incineration line - has a capacity of 100 tons per day and is used for the safe incineration of the resulting hazardous waste. In addition, a solid landfill with a volume of 30,000 m³ is provided.。
Veolia's Huaibei incineration plant started up on June 20, 2021 and completed its safety treatment and pre-operation work until September 22, 2022. During construction, all project participants bravely overcame difficulties, despite the negative impact of the pandemic, and, with the maximum efforts of all parties, successfully advanced all stages of installation and setup of the installation.。
Due to the pandemic, the local chemical industry has reduced the production of hazardous waste and made recycling difficult; equipment efficiency testing has been delayed until mid-June 2023. Prior to the inspection, Chenchuang Kaji worked tirelessly with the customer to carry out system tests in accordance with Veolia's factory procedures, quickly moving the equipment from maintenance mode to pre-production mode.。
On June 12, 2023, the ignition and heating of the burner began; In just five days, the combustion line heating and raw material feeding procedures were completed, and the combustion volume remained stable. All devices operate stably, which allows testing to ensure the required performance characteristics.
From 8:00 a.m. June 18, 2023 to 8:00 a.m. July 15, 2023, the 28-day contract performance assurance tests were completed. The combustion line operated stably during testing; The volume of hazardous waste treatment met design requirements, and flue gas emissions were fully compliant with established standards.
Despite the impact of the pandemic, it took eight months from commissioning the incinerator to conducting efficiency testing. However, after receiving notification from the customer about the need for testing, Chenchuang Keji moved the plant from production shutdown to ready to start up in less than a month and successfully completed efficiency tests, setting a record for speed and initial successful completion of all tests for similar plants.
