The rotary kiln is a large horizontal continuous thermal calcination equipment consisting of a rotating body, drive, support and thrust rollers, sealing devices, combustion system and temperature control system. Due to the rotation of the housing, the material is turned over and, in a countercurrent mode, heat is exchanged with high-temperature flue gases, ensuring the continuous execution of the entire cycle of processes: preheating, firing and activation of the material.
